M•Grass has built a local plant germplasm resource pool with its data and scale leading the nation. The pool has collected nearly 62,000 pieces of graphic and text data information of plant germplasm resources across the country, and more than 12,000 local plant germplasm resources, which are the basis for the development and promotion of characteristic seed industry. In addition, M•Grass has collected about 100,000 plant specimens with geographical indications and nearly 1.4million soil specimens in arid and semi-arid areas, examined and approved 22 national and autonomous region level grass varieties, obtained 4 new national plant variety rights, introduced and domesticated over 200 species of native plants.
For indigenous plant acclimation and ecological restoration, M•Grass has set up Qin•Grass in Shaanxi and Zang•Grass in Tibet. Besides, M•Grass has established urban landscape park companies in Hangzhou and Xiamen.
To make innovation in business subdivision, M•Grass has established Mines and Soil Restoration Company, Happy Grass, Ecological Big Data Company and Characteristic Seed Industry Company to promote the company’s technological reserve, expand customer base and innovate business model.
